Onboard USS Harry S. Truman
The sun sets over a set of “Big Eyes” binoculars on the signal bridge of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75), while an MH-60 Knighthawk assigned to the “Bay Raiders” of Helicopter Combat Support Squadron (HSC) 28 airlifts several replenishment slings to USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69). USS Harry S. Truman is currently underway off the coast of the Eastern United States conducting replenishments at sea with USNS Arctic (T-AOE 8) and weapons offload operations with USS Enterprise (CVN 65) and USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69). Harry S. Truman is scheduled to enter its Docked-Planned Incremental Availability at the beginning of 2006. US Navy photo by Photographer’s Mate Airman Ricardo J. Reyes.
